Tips for Visiting Our Midway

Welcome to our Midway Tips. Our commitment is to provide you with the very best customer service here ONLINE and on all our MIDWAYS across North America.

At anytime please feel free to visit us at our Guest Services or Midway Office and our fully trained staff will be happy to assist you with Midway information.

Here are the answers to some general questions that we get asked about our Midway.

Do the rides have different height requirements?

Please be advised that children under 42 inches may be required to ride some of the attractions with a paying adult rider for safety purposes.

For your safety, all rides at North American Midway Entertainment have height requirements. All riding guests are required to meet all ride height requirements.

Save time by measuring your child in advance at our Size Wize measuring charts located by ticket purchase point locations. After finding the correct measurement, look for the Size Wize signs posted at each ride to ensure safety and timely movement through the ride lines.

Where can I buy ride tickets at discounted prices?

Check our BUY TICKETS NOW section for advance online purchase options. Also check our Fairs and Events Schedule which will provide additional locations for advance ticket purchasing. Advance tickets are only available at participating events.

What happens if I lose my tickets or ride wristband?

You need to take great care of your tickets and wristbands as these are non-replaceable and non-refundable, even if you have a copy or receipt. If you are bringing advance ride tickets to the midway be sure you pack them safely and redeem them at your earliest convenience upon arrival.

How do I apply for a Career at North American Midway?

Are you a person who wants to travel, loves amusement rides is eager to learn and goes out of your way to help others? If your answer is yes, NAME wants you. Please visit our career section for all employment information.

Do any of the rides close when weather is rainy or severe?

For your safety, certain rides may need to close during severe weather. Concessions and games will remain open unless conditions are extremely severe. Rides will re-open as soon as possible. All tickets are wristbands are non-refundable. Unfortunately we do not provide re-bands, refunds or rainchecks.

Do any of the Midway Concessions offer special dietary food options?

North American Midway Entertainment has a wide variety of midway food items to offer.

There is nothing more exciting than planning your trip to the Fair each year. You will think about the rides you will ride and for some people more importantly, “What you will eat?”

The options are endless from the fresh dipped corn dogs, midway burgers, french fries, hot buttered popcorn and delicious foot long dogs. Sweet and irresistible mini donuts, caramel apples, cotton candy and funnel cakes are only some of the delicious treats to enjoy.

On a selection of our midways you will find healthy food items such as Fruit Smoothies, Tacos, Chicken on a Stick, Salads and more.

Are pets allowed on the Midway?

Please note that our Midways do not permit pets. Service animals providing service for a guest with a disability or certified service animals in training are welcome on the Midway.

How do I find out what’s happening at the Fair?

Browse through our Fairs & Events schedule to link to the particular Fair website to learn more about all the exciting attractions, entertainment and events happening at this years’ Fair.

What do I need to remember before visiting the Midway?

Come prepared for the unexpected. Pack an umbrella , sunscreen and the appropriate clothing in case the weather suddenly turns wet or unseasonably warm or cool. Be sure that all loose articles such as keys, phones and wallets are secure before riding.

How do I find something that I lost on the Midway?

The best way to find an item lost on our Midway is to visit the Lost & Found, which is located at the Guest Services on the Midway.

If you are not able to visit Lost & Found in person you can contact us through our Website and your information will be routed to Lost & Found for a response.

We encourage guests to leave valuables at home and to always secure loose keys, cell phones and other properties while riding the rides.

Midway Announcements

We regret that personal pages cannot be broadcast through our Midway.  You can leave messages for other members of your party at our conveniently located Guest Services or Midway office on-site.

Guests with Disabilities

We welcome guests with special needs and we're always happy to help make your day a comfortable and memorable one. For information on services offered to guests with disabilities, please visit our Guest Services or Midway office on-site.

What if I get separated from my parents, children or friends on the Midway?

If you become separated from your parents, children or friends, please go to our Guest Services or Midway Office for assistance. Messages for separated parties can be left at our Guest Services or Midway Office. Be sure to always coordinate a meeting place in case you get separated during your visit.

Does the Midway have amenities such as ATM’s?

When strolling our beautiful midway you will notice many of our guest amenities including ATM’s, hand sanitizing stations, food courts and shaded seating areas. 

Is the Midway SMOKEFREE?

For the comfort of families and our little visitors we encourage a SMOKE-FREE Kiddieland.  In addition no detail is left to chance with our “No-Smoking on the Midway” employee policy.

Which days are usually the least busy?

We cannot predict from one day to the next however weekdays always tend to be less busy. Line-ups will be shorter and you will get the most out of your experience.

What do I need to wear to make my visit comfortable, especially if I am planning on spending the whole day?

Wear comfortable shoes. Bring warmer clothing for the evening. Even in summer, it can get chilly after dark. It may be wise to bring a hooded rain jacket for cooler evenings or in the case of inclement weather.  Most rides remain open, however some rides cannot run in the rain or high winds.
