Danny Huston has been in the fair business for over
30 years. Beginning his career at 16 as an employee of a game operator in Indiana,
Danny realized that he wanted to own his own gaming business. At 18, he purchased
his first basketball game. While managing his games, Danny also assisted with the
management of a carnival in Ohio, which continued for 20 years. In 2001, he teamed
up with Jim Wegerly and they purchased Mid-America Shows, which included 55 rides.
Danny is well known for his exceptional on-site management skills and his unparalleled
midway designs. Danny was appointed by Governor Frank O'Bannon in 1997 to serve
on an amusement ride safety board for the State of Indiana for a 4-year term. In
2002, he was appointed by the Speaker of the House of Indiana for an additional
4-year term on the same board. He is currently on the Board of Governors of the
Showmen's League of America, a member of the Lion's Club International and a Board
Member of a new Ethanol plant being built in central Indiana.
